This blog post will be short. Why?
- Because a picture is worth a thousand words
- Because I love and collect the wisdom found in ancient proverbs, and the wisdom sayings found in every culture
- Because I have specialized in the power of “right brain” knowing, and I know that a truth embedded through story or image sticks with us longer. It gets integrated into our consciousness in a more “whole brain” way. Simply put, it is far more effective than an wordy sermon or "rational" argument.
- Because I enjoy creating graphics and playing with PicMonkey!
From time to time I will be posting a graphic I create featuring one of these wise sayings. They can have multiple meanings, and mean different things to different people. I’d love to know how you see them applying to your own life!
Here is Old Saying, Modern Wisdom #1:
Knowing something is true in your head does not create change in your body, life, relationships or community.
Deciding or saying "yes", but doing "no" does not create change. Knowing you should be "doing no" when you are actually "doing yes" doesn't either.
Where do you need to put your oar in the water?
Do you know some old sayings, wise sayings or proverbs you can add to my collection please? Is there someone you'd like to share this with?
Don't forget to "Like", Share, Pin & Comment. It Helps!
